Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback singer, actress and musician. Her main work involves in Tamil or Malayalam-language movies. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam and Tamil debut. Her debut was in Tamil alongside Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah grew up in a Tamil Nadu Anglo-Indian home. Her father is an Madras High Court lawyer. Her younger sister works as a Belgian research assistant who lives in Leuven. Jeremiah was born in Chennai. He was a student at National Public School. After the completion of his studies, he attended Women's Christian College. Andrea was a the classical piano at eighteen, was classified as an "geek" and aspired to be a psychiatric nurse until her board exam in 12th grade. When she was 10, she was an active member of the Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the base of her early singing and music composing career. This film was a film adaptation of the novel by James Siegel Derailed. It featured Andrea portraying Kalyani who is a housewife who's husband is involved in an affair, and then is targeted by a blackmailer. Andrea was approached following Simran Shobana's death and Tabu. It was first released in the early part of the year 2010. The film was released in August 2011. Venkat Prabhu launched his multi-starrer Mankatha. It was her turn to take on a lesser support role. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic movie that was released in 2013.
