She's worked at many of the top outlets worldwide. She spent almost a decade covering various sports on behalf of The Washington Post, including football, tennis, and basketball. Nichols was a reporter for nine years with ESPN which was where she earned two Emmy Awards. Her Monday Night Football coverage as an official reporter was a part of her work at the network. Then she moved on to CNN and Turner Sports. Unguarded: Rachel Nichols hosted her own show on CNN International. More than a billion people watched the program across the world. During this time Nichols covered TNT's NBA broadcasts including regular season, playoffs and the All-Star broadcast teams. She has also worked for TBS reporting as an anchor who covers baseball and golf coverage. CBS broadcasted the Final Four. It was only the 2nd occasion in the 42-year history of TBS that women were chosen from over 200 nominations.
