Lis Wiehl works as an American writer and legal analyst who previously worked as a Fox News analyst.
She previously served as an Assistant Professor of Law in The University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary for National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She appeared regularly for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl, who was born and grew up in Yakima within Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima from West Valley High School. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree at the age of 33 in. In 1985, she earned the Master of Arts Degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she received the Juris Doctorate at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as a US attorney. She was a NPR legal reporter. She was "the the deputy chief investigator for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee at the time of Clinton's Impeachment." Her tenure at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 to 2001. She was the director of the school's Trial Advocacy Program. She worked as an analyst for Fox News from 2001 until the year 2017.
