The family was raised to Rochester, New York, Sharp was a music enthusiast and was a clarinet player as well as piano and cello at the prestigious Hochstein School of Music. The Boston Conservatory offered her grants for her theatre classes at her school. After graduating Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Sharp determined to pursue a career in theatre after graduating Cum Laude with the B.F.A. Sharp appeared in her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp's other theatre appearances include Abyssinia and Aida. Sharp's works aren't limited to screen or stage. Sharp has written and written a number of projects. In addition to singing, Sharp is working on an album. Sharp loves exercise. She keeps herself fit through doing boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long road trips. Sharp resides with her family, including her husband and lives in Los Angeles.
